British Virgin Islands
Decorated with small bays and hidden coves, once havens for pirates, the British
Virgin Islands provide some of world's most beautiful cruising areas but also provide
stunning beaches for those who want some time ashore. Made up of over 40 islands,
Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke are the largest. Tortola is a haven of white
sand, lush green mountains, ruins and rum distilleries. And underwater caverns
beckon from dramatic Virgin Gorda. The BVI Spring regatta dominates the sailing
calendar but other attractions include wreck week in May offering the opportunity to
explore some of the islands' most famous wrecks, the BVI music festival and the
Marina Cay British Virgin Islands
infamous monthly full moon party in Apple Bay.
St Lucia
Despite being the most popular Caribbean island, much of St. Lucia remains
relatively unspoiled. The landscape is beautifully varied with mountains, valleys, banana
plantations, a bubbling volcano, wild orchids, and fishing villages. For sail cruising the
area is perfect with many secluded bays and coral reefs to explore. On land the
attractions include Castries market, pigeon island national historic park, the volcano
Mount Soufrière and the Diamond mineral baths. If soaking up culture is your thing then
the island hosts a jazz festival in May and a carnival in July.

every day of the year. But it also provides a paradise for the sailor with a stunning
cruising ground where you won't tire of the breathtaking bays and anchorages the
island has to offer. On shore there are than enough attractions to while away the days
including; the stunning St John's cathedral, Nelson's Dockyard National Park with its
restored naval dockyard and Devil's Bridge, a natural bridge carved by the Atlantic's
