From our base at the exclusive Rodney Bay marina resort in St
Lucia our cruising area includes the following islands, each with
their own individual charm. Whether you choose to spend all your
time afloat, or combine it with some time ashore you will find plenty
to keep you entertained.
St Vincent & The Grenadines
St. Vincent and the Grenadines are part of the Windward Islands. St.
Vincent is the largest of the more than 30 islands that comprise the
nation and is mountainous and lush with numerous rainforests and
an active volcano, La Soufrie. The Grenadines extend to the
southwest, like a kite's tail. These may lack natural resources, but
they're blessed with white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and their own
spectacular beauty The other major islands include Young Island,
Bequia, Mustique, Union Island, Palm Island, and Petit St. Vincent.
The average yearly temperature is a cosy 27°C! Apart from sailing
the islands offer a wide range of activities including diving,
snorkelling and fishing. And if you choose to spend some time on
land there is plenty to explore including the beautiful St Vincent
botanical gardens, the vibrant Kingstown market, and numerous
spectacular cathedrals.
