FEBRUARY 28 MARDI GRAS STREET PARADE.


Breckenridge kicks off Mardi Gras in style with a parade down Main Street at 4:30PM.


JUNE - AUGUST SUMMER MUSIC. The National


Repertory Orchestra, Breckenridge Music Festival, and the Blue River Series offer more than 40 classical and non- classical concerts including jazz, show tunes, children’s concerts, rock ‘n’ roll, and more throughout the summer at the Riverwalk Center.


JUNE 16-18 GOLD PANNING CHAMPIONSHIPS.


The past comes to life honoring Breckenridge’s rich past with gold panning demos.

BRECK BIKE FEST. Think guided group rides, bike-in movie nights, open space best practices lectures, bike fits, kids’ races, high-end bike demos, and more. The bonus? Breck Bike Fest activities are FREE and open to everyone.


JULY 4 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION.


Fourth of July is packed with family fun. Activities abound throughout the weekend and the “Firecracker 50” bike race kicks off the Main Street parade. End the night with live music and an extraordinary fireworks display (weather permitting).

OKTOBERFEST. The high country’s premier Oktoberfest celebration brings Bavarian food, German brews, lederhosen, and Oompah music to Main Street Breckenridge. On Friday night, the prestigious Brewmaster’s Dinner kicks off the weekend-long party.

BRECKENRIDGE WINE CLASSIC. The inaugural wine classic is a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary guests, and our distinguished guests gather to play, wine and dine in beautiful Breckenridge.


SEPTEMBER 21-24 35TH


THE SANTAS. Breckenridge kicks off the holiday season with the annual lighting of the town tree. Sip steaming cocoa, join carolers in song, and bring the kids for a visit with Santa that evening. Join Santas on the Race on Main Street, Breckenridge. Holiday festivities continue throughout the entire month of December.


LOOKING AHEAD TO 2018 JANUAR7 10-13, 2018 ULLR FEST. Grab your Viking horns


for a week long festival honoring Ullr (pronounced Ooh-ler), the mythical Norse god of snow. The celebration brings to Breckenridge a wild Main Street parade, Breck’s Got Talent, bonfire, and more.

SNOW SCULPTURE CHAMPIONSHIPS PRESENTED BY YOUR HOMETOWN TOYOTA STORES. Teams from around the globe descend on Breckenridge to hand carve 25-ton blocks of snow into beautiful works of art. Artists achieve finished pieces after 65 intense hours of work, without the use of power tools.
