FEBRUARY 2017 What Is Nafe

National Association for Female Executives (Nafe) Nafe is an organization of Female Executives,

Women Business Owners and Entrepreneurs that are totally dedicated to the advancement of women. We believe that this can be done through ed-

ucation, mentoring, training skills, personal devel- opment and public advocacy. Our members tell me that the organization can be described as a Sisterhood or Sorority! They are

able to help &

support others by providing needed resources. They have the opportu- nity to associate with women who are caring individuals; women who are committed to serving rather than being served. It is important for business

women and professionals to get in- volved with helping each other to grow. I have seen this happening in NAFE! It is great to see the transfor- mation that occurs when ideas are exchanged and mentoring occurs. Every one of our meetings has

dynamic speakers sharing the les- sons they have learned. The speak- ers are caring individuals who make an impact on the lives of others! I have had the pleasure of seeing metamorphosis occurring in people who exhibited fear, lack of confi- dence, lack of knowledge make a big change! Members, Joan E. Wakeland

said “I was taught how to be a social Butterfly. Through Nafe encourage- ment, I created the hashtag ‘free to fly’. Because of my involvement in Nafe, I have met some very influen- tial people. I earned awards for Vol- unteering; NAFE gave me exposure!” The Annual Nafe Women’s Con-

ference Success Up is scheduled for April 22, 2017, at the Corporate Room in Wildomar. The cost for the all day conference with dynamic speakers, shopping, lunch, enter- tainment, opportunity drawings and lots of networking is $80.00 until February 15th then it moves to $90.00. For information on the con- ference or networks contact Robbie Motter, Nafe Global Coordinator at 951-255-9200 Humans like to belong; NAFE is

the Community that provides the en- vironment of teamwork so that everyone wins!
