In fact his father was a building inspector, as well as having a keen interest in dry stone walling, so Ian's knowledge and enthusiasm basically stemmed from there.


Ian and his small team undertake everything from commercial and domestic to insurance work. He also performs stone work, patios, fish ponds, garden design and much more. Over the years he has undertaken a great deal of conservation projects, having worked in conjunction with the National Peak Park on numerous occasions, as well as alteration and restoration with the Church of England. They are also specialists in Water Divining and are happy to undertake any land drainage investigation work.


Ian employs a small team of specialist construction workers, who together ensure that the job is completed to an exceptional high standard. Wilstone can offer comprehensive and creative designs, providing a fresh and imaginative approach to a variety of briefs.
