PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION HAS A LONG TERM HOME FOR SADDLEWORTH GROUP

A new exhibition representing local professional and amateur photographers has taken place in Saddleworth which started in mid December, and will be hosted by the Council for at least the coming year.

More than seventeen photographers from the Saddleworth Photography Group displayed their best personal work at The Civic Hall in Uppermill began from 18th December. The exhibition, which is free to view, features over 40 images in a range of photographic styles including portrait, landscape, experimental and art.

Saddleworth Photography Group has been operational for two years and has near on 200 members. It sets weekly practical challenges to help photographers learn from their own practice and from that of others. The group provides a sounding board for members to ask questions and give feedback. This is their second exhibition.
