NOT GUILTY PLEA FOR DRINK DRIVER


AN ALLEGED drink driver


entered a not guilty plea at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday (Dec 21). James PeterOakley, 20, in Penparcau,

Aberystwyth, denied an offence of being in charge of a vehicle while above the legal alcohol level. The incident is said to have


taken place on November 19 at Victoria Terrace in Aberystwyth, where the defendant was said to be in charge of a Vauxhall Corsa while having 70mcg of alcohol in 100ml of his breath, exceeding the prescribed limit. Oakley will reappear before


the court on January 23, 2017 for his trial and was released on unconditional bail until then.
