MIDRA Series

Analog Way’s Midra™ platform is at the core of a line of mid-range Mixers / Seamless Switchers. The Midra™ platform consists of 6 products: QuickVu-3G, QuickMatriX, SmartMatriX², Saphyr, Eikos² and Pulse²-3G.

Improved architecture

Compared to the Pulse range which was launched in 2009, the Midra switchers benefit from several major improvements, bringing the products to the next level. They come in a 2RU enclosure with a deeper chassis, ensuring better air circulation and cooling of the device.

Upgraded connectivity, with up to 10 seamless inputs and 16 input plugs: 4 x Universal Analog, 4 x DVI-D, 4 x HDMI and 2 to 4 x 3G-SDI plugs. Thanks to the clean cut effect, the Midra switchers can operate fast and seamlessly switch between any of their 16 input plugs without fade through black or loss of sync

Ultra-performing processing with smart functionalities

Thanks to optimized programming and a new architecture, the Midra switchers offer Fast True Seamless Switching, with a 50% speed gain in control parameter response. The de-interlacing process was significantly improved, similar in quality to the process available on the LiveCore™ series.
