Departure from your hotel in Paris at around 8 am (drinks, croissants, newspapers offered on board). Discover the Champagne vineyard around Reims. Once in the vineyard, the guide will explain the Champagne soil, the three main grape varieties, the vines throughout the seasons from pruning in winter to ripening and harvest in autumn. Then visit a wine grower followed by a wine tasting session 12:30 pm: Traditional French lunch in a restaurant 2:00 pm: Visit Reims Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece where the kings of France were crowned. Then Guided tour of one of the most famous Champagne houses in Reims and its underground chalk cellar (Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart…) to discover step by step technical wine making “from grape to champagne” through pressing, first fermentation, remuage, disgorge- ment, corking and finally labelling. A glass of champagne will be served at the end of this tour. Free time to discover the store and buy champagne. 5:30 pm: Leave Reims, return to your hotel at around 8 pm.

Pick up at your hotel by your driver-guide and departure to Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Visit this exceptional site formed by a granite island with its village houses huddled close together and encircled by walls.On top lies the Abbey of the Mont-Saint-Michel, a Gothic and Benedictine abbey.
