Help fight breast cancer in stride at the Oak Brook Park District’s annual Pink 5K Run/Walk. Over $11,000 was donated to the Open Arms Breast Cancer Outreach Fund, Hinsdale Hospital Foundation from last year’s event alone! Your registration will help us exceed this milestone and provide lifesaving cancer screenings to women throughout the greater Chicagoland area! Runners and walkers will enjoy this scenic race as it travels through the roadways, fields, and walking paths of the Oak Brook Park District’s Central Park. The race starts and ends by the Central Park West facility. This race is a CARA Certified Course and USA Track and Field Certified. This year’s event, which is sponsored by Evergreen Bank Group and AMITA Health, will benefit Open Arms-Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s Breast Cancer Outreach Fund. The foundation will utilize the donation it receives from The Pink 5K for their 40-40-40 program in October, which will provide 40 free mammograms for 40 women over 40 years of age.
