enrichment Just for 2’s


Just 2’s is specially designed for the busy 2 year old. Art, singing, stories, and free play are a part of each day’s schedule. This class will help children learn to play with others and work on sharing skills. Parents are welcome, but not required to stay with their children the first week. Children may be in Pullups, but parents are required to be available for changing. Children must be two before start of session. Children registered for Just 2s are not eligible to register for Bridge to Preschool. Age: 2-3. Studio C.

Bridge to Preschool


Bridge to Preschool is gentle introduction to shapes, colors, numbers and letters. This transitional class will help children learn to play with others and follow directions. Children will develop the independence and confidence necessary to progress through preschool with success. This class is designed for 2.5 year olds who have completed at least one session of Just 2’s or 3 year olds who missed the September 1st deadline. Children may be in Pullups, but parents are required to be available for changing. Children registered for Bridge to Preschool are NOT eligible to also register for Just 2s. Priority registration is given to those registered in the Fall 2016 season. Age: 2.5-3. Studio C. No Class 2/20, 3/3, 3/6, 3/27-31, 4/14.

This program is designed especially for the busy 3 year old. Children will eat lunch, then read a story or a rhyme and then create a craft that goes with the theme of the story. Each class will have a different enrichment activity such as music, art or educational game. The children must bring their own lunch in a marked container. All participants must be 3 by September 1, 2016 and be currently attending preschool. Age: 3-4. Pony Room. No Class 2/20, 3/6, 3/27-29.

Children can learn about and participate in sports just like their big brother or sister. Young children will develop their large motor skills by throwing, running and kicking. A number of different sports will be introduced during this program including basketball, soccer, tee ball and scooters. Participants will use modified equipment specifically designed for the skill level of 3-5 year olds. Age: 3-5. Gym 3. No Class 3/3, 3/31, 4/14.

This class will combine stretching, basic tumbling and a dance routine each week. Children will improve their coordination, flexibility and body awareness all while having fun and grooving to the latest kids friendly tunes! Age: 3-6. Studio B. No Class 2/21, 3/28.

Children are invited to join in an afternoon of Phonics Fun. Participants will play games highlighting letter recognition and phonemic awareness to help prepare young readers by improving their reading and spelling skills. All participants must bring a lunch with their name on it. Participants must be age 4 by September 1, 2016 and currently attending preschool. Age: 4-6. Purple Room. No Class 2/20, 3/6, 3/27-29.
