Camp and Aquatics Cover Design Contest

Each year, the Oak Brook Park District and the Oak Brook Park District Foundation encourage young artists to design the cover of our Camp & Aquatic Guide to help us show Oak Brook what recreation is all about!

Any student in grades K-8 may enter and be recognized at the awards party, but only Oak Brook residents are eligible for the grand prize.

Full contest rules and guidelines are available at www.obparks.org.

All contestants are invited to attend the February Dive In Movie Presentation at the Family Aquatic Center. Winners and prizes will be announced at 6:45pm on February 10 right before the movie begins.

Questions? Contact Jessica Cannaday at jcannaday@obparks.org or 630-645-9539 or visit www.obparks.org for more information.

Thank you to the Oak Brook Park District Foundation for providing our prize and helping us promote art and creativity in Oak Brook!

Oak Brook Park District Community Ice Rink Opening and Closing Information:

The community ice rink is a seasonal amenity of Central Park. Each winter the sand volleyball pit is converted into an outdoor ice rink, usually between December and March. Ice rink hours are from dawn until dusk.

Operation of the ice rink is weather- dependent. The rink is open for use if

there is a green flag displayed. A red flag, or no flag, indicates conditions are not safe for skating and the rink is closed.

Please follow all rules for use that are posted on site and at www.obparks.org. Use of the ice rink is not supervised and skaters use the rink at their own risk. To report damage or unsafe conditions please call 630-990-4233.
