Malt Mill Trash Screen Totness


The Environment Agency gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the Malt Mill Trash Screen at SX8037960636


The proposed repair works will be undertaken between Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017. The works will involve the following:


1. Dismantle and remove existing trash screen and hand rails.


2. Implement a 2 stage trash screen that will connect directly to the existing footbridge.


Arrangements for managing the flow of traffic will be carefully designed so that residents will experience the minimum disruption possible.


The Environment Agency considers the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environment statement in respect of them.
