Welcome to 2016’s last edition of
‘Community Chat’. The last year has been really positive, we have overcome many challenges but continued to deliver excellent services.
We have recently combined our two call centres to provide one, consistent service 24/7. This gives us more capacity to resolve more calls at the first point of contact. We’ve also worked closely with customers on our Customer Scrutiny Panel and Service Voice to look at our garage lettings process. The new process will make it easier for tenants to rent a garage and reduce our waiting lists. If you’re interested in renting a garage, take a look on the back page to see what garages we currently have available to rent.

This September, we also saw Steve Harriott stand down as Chair of the Board and welcomed Lynda Bowen, to the role. With a strong background in social care and a long involvement in the housing sector Lynda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Looking ahead, Lynda’s focus will be on how we continue to adapt and respond to change. Your opinions will play an important role in shaping our priorities next year.
You will have all received a copy of the 2015-16 annual report and we really hope you like the design. The new format is broken down by our corporate plan priorities and also combines the work carried out by the Scrutiny Panel throughout the report which has been a separate report in previous years.
