The plot focuses on the problems faced by DS Nancy Devlin, who is unwittingly caught up in a murder involving drugs trafficker Frank Le Saux, the father of Hayley, her childhood best friend. Both women have recently returned to their hometown of Brighton and as they try to rekindle their relationship, Nancymust keep her ties with Le Saux from her colleagues’ prying eyes.

NCIS: NewOrleans Channel 5, 7.55pm Pride comes after a fall in this week’s offering as the long suffering law enforcer (Scott Bakula) tries to get to the bottom of another mystery. Two bailiffs get more than they bargained for while trying to repossess a car. Things get serious when the shotgun-wielding owner promises he won’t give up his belovedBMW, but then a body crashes onto the car’s roof. It appears that Mateo, a petty officer originally from Honduras, committed suicide, but finger marks around the neck suggests he was strangled before being thrown off a bridge.

6.20 Strictly Come Dancing. The 15 stars and their professional partners perform live in a bid to remain in the competition, as voting lines open for the first time this year, ahead of tomorrow’s result show.

8.25 The National Lottery: Five Star Family Reunion. A UK family and their overseas relatives work together to win a once-in-a-lifetime reunion. Nick Knowles hosts and Gaby Roslin introduces the weekend Lotto and Thunderball draws.
