Body by Adhi: appreciates community support Ahdi Dasuqi, owner of Body by Ahdi, says

he’s “happy and grateful” for the honor of “Best Personal Trainer.”

“Growing up in Clarkston and having support and it showing up in your votes is overwhelming, humbling and much appreciated,” Dasuqi said. What makes them the best, said Dasuqi, is the unique talents of each staff member, noting that Trainer Brendon Lagios is a boxer and ex- professional track-star and Trainer Veronica Kerin has done fitness competitions and

shows, as well as Kelly Adams, which Dasuqi described as “a creative athletic pilates instructor that performs with grace and power.” “So everybody has unique talents and skill- sets,” Dasuqi said. “Acknowledging those unique talents and skill-sets and lining those up with our client’s needs, is really the bridge I think separates us from everybody else. Body by Ahdi is located at 8 S. Main Street (in the alley behind Olde Village Cafe). For more information call 248-904-9047 or find them on Facebook.

Linda and Uncle John with Tango, the dog. Premier dog care at Camp Bow Wow

Shock was the reaction Uncle John from Camp Bow Wow had when he found out Clarkston had named him Best Groomer for the fifth consecutive year. "I am lucky," Uncle John smiled. "I have a lot of great clients. I have been blessed with the clientele I have. They have been so good and understanding. They have been with me through the ups and downs." He added the dogs he grooms are also

great.

"I have some really great babies to work with which is good because they make me as good as I am," he said. "I am their buddy. I am just their buddy who gives them a bath and grooms them."

Camp Bow Wow is a premier doggy day care, boarding and grooming facility pro- viding the best care for your furry friend in a social, open play environment. "Working here has been excellent," he added. "It’s such a great staff to work with and I have excellent bosses."

He thanks the community for their vote. "I appreciate them and love them. I really love them," he smiled. "They have treated me like family – hence the name Uncle John. They have really made me feel welcomed here." To make an appointment with Uncle John, please call 248-620-WOOF (9663). For more information, call 248-620-9663.
