Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber Chamber Members Enjoy ‘Evening On The Waterford Greenway ‘

O

ver 60 Chamber members and local tourism providers enjoyed a wonderful evening on the Waterford

Greenway recently. The event was made possible by Liam Keating at Waterford Greenway Bike Hire, based in Abbeyside, who brought an enormous collection of his rental bikes, helmets and safety gear to Durrow to outfit all the attendees. Kitted out with the best of equipment, everyone then had the opportunity to experience the new Greenway for themselves, meandering along the stunning former railway line and enjoying the spectacular scenery. On their return, attendees were treated to a warm welcome and the finest home-made hors d’oeuvres at O’Mahony’s Pub and Courtyard, a fabulous spot to relax when visiting Waterford’s newest tourism attraction.

EARLY BIRD NETWORKING DINNER WITH THE PARK HOTEL DUNGARVAN To celebrate the launch of the Park Hotel’s new Early Bird Menu - developed by renowned chef Conor Foran - the Flynn Family & General Manager Declan Moriarty kindly invited the members of Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber to be amongst the first to experience it on July 14th. The 80 attendees had the opportunity to network in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, whilst trying dishes from the new menu – sampling a range of treats from Moroccan Spiced Chicken and Glazed Porkbelly to Lemon Posset with Shortbread. The feedback has been incredible and we’d like to sincerely thank the entire team at The Park Hotel for all their work in organising and staging the event.
