Dear reader 04 06 07 08 10 11 12 13 14 15
Welcome to the Summer edition of
Community Chat. As you know, the government have cut the rent you pay us by 1% each year for the next four years. We are now in the first year of making cost savings and working very closely with customers on our Customer Scrutiny Panel and Service Voices to make sure we are still delivering the right services to a high standard.
This September, the Chair of the Board, Steve Harriott stands down as his term of office comes to an end. Steve feels that one of his greatest achievements whilst with Boston Mayflower was championing the customer voice through the creation of our Customer Scrutiny Panel because of the invaluable work that they do ensuring that the services we deliver actually reflect customer needs and holding the business to account. The panel were recognised as the best in the country last year which shows you what a positive impact they have had. If you are interested in becoming an involved customer, give us a call and we’ll provide you with more information.
So, as we say thank you and farewell to Steve, we
will be welcoming the new Chair of Boston Mayflower, Lynda Bowen, to the role in September. I’ll provide more information regarding Lynda later in the year.
Wishing you all a fantastic summer.
