What do I need when I check in? When arriving at the Family Recreation Center, please present your membership ID or a valid photo ID.


Do I have to check in? Everyone must check in at the Front Desk. If you have questions about the facilities or where you need to go, our Front Desk staff will be happy to help you.


I’m not swimming today. Do I still have to pay the fee? All people entering the Family Aquatic Center must pay the daily fee, even family members that do not intend to swim. We do have a comfortable lounge area for those wishing to wait.


When does the Aquatic Center Close? The Family Aquatic Center closes 30 minutes prior to the Family Recreation Center closing time.


Can I bring small children on the track while I work out? Please, no strollers on the track or Fitness Center area. Our playroom staff are able to watch your child while you work out.


How do I get to the large playground? The playground can be accessed by following the path around the left side of the building, or by going out the doors by the snack machines. However, you may only exit those doors, you must return to the main entrance for re-entry.


Registration Dates Residents: August 8 | Nonresidents: August 22 Completed registration forms received at the Administration Office will be held until the appropriate registration dates and then processed at random. Online registration will open at 12:01am on the above listed dates. Contact registration@obparks.org with questions.

Register early for programs to avoid full classes or cancelled programs.


CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY


A $5 service charge will be applied to each class cancelled if received before a program begins. No refunds will be given after the 2nd class has met. Prorated refunds may be issued if accompanied by a signed note from a physician. The refund is determined once the note is received. Refunds of 100% are made if the park district cancels a program.


While you workout... The Playroom


Our caring staff is here six days a week to watch your children while you take part in park district programs. The Playroom’s goal is to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment. We watch children 2 months through 14 years. Minimum charge of one hour. After the first hour, you may pay in half hour increments.


Fee: $4/hr for residents $5/hr for nonresidents Save $1 for additional child in same family.
