EquipHotel will, for the first time, feature STUDIO16 — a space dedicated to the latest trends and cutting-edge innovation in the hotel and restaurant sector. At the heart of the trade show, spread over three floors, STUDIO16 will present the latest trends in the sector and cutting-edge innovation in the hotel and restaurant sector. For the first time ever, a team of experts — architects, designers, decorators and business owners — will take over more than 3,000m² of space offering a unique insight into new trends and applications, channels for revenue development, and ongoing transformations happening in hospitality and catering. STUDIO16 will include six areas covering

various key aspects of the sector. Tese areas will be crammed with new ideas, innovative products and headline trends, as laid out by leading names in architecture and interior design under the co- ordination of Tierry Virvaire. OUTDOOR, by Christophe Gautrand and

Benjamin Deshoulières (Agence Christophe Gautrand & Associés Paysagistes), will be dedicated to exterior design trends with the aim of improving the user’s comfort and the customer experience in this area. THE LOBBY, by Jean-Philippe Nuel (Studio

Jean-Philippe Nuel), will constitute a meeting place blending business with leisure, and focusing on the dematerialization of the check-in experience (which is increasingly paper-free in hotels). LET’S WORK, by Julie Gauthron (Exquise

Esquisse), will offer a living space catering to a range of expectations and functions — from relaxation and entertainment to catering, office premises, and workspace uses. IN THE ROOM, by Elizabeth Leriche (Bureau

de Style Elizabeth Leriche), together with Guillaume Terver and Christophe Delcourt (Le LAD), will comprise four specially designed areas, each illustrating a key component of the hotel room: beds, storage space, the bathroom and versatility (i.e. multifunctionality). RESTO DES CHEFS, THE BAR and THE

VIP LOUNGE, by Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet (Studio MHNA), will form three spaces

or more than 50 years EquipHotel has been helping international hospitality and catering professionals decode trends, discover innovations and build

following on from one another, in the manner of a big curiosity shop: this area of STUDIO16 will pay tribute to the authentic terroirs of France and to the nation’s precious art de vivre. GLASS GALLERY, by Sylvie Amar (Sylvie

Amar Studio), will present a wide range of drinking glasses around three sub-themes: beer, whisky and cocktail drinks. With STUDIO16, current developments

in the news and evolutions in the trends that characterize the industry will come together in a striking and explanatory display that will guide professionals through the various stages of a project in the hotel/catering sector — from its creation and inception all the way to the finishing touches marking its completion. Te EquipHotel trade show is due to take place at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, in Paris (France), between 6th and 10th November 2016.
