Speaking recently regarding the significant effort by the Club Deise Supporters Club, Waterford’s Senior Hurling Manager, Derek McGrath said “The level of funds raised so far this year by Club Deise is central to the development of our county teams and very necessary to support our future plans. We really appreciate the contributions from the various initiatives in both the City and County.” Derek made his comments recently at a senior hurling training camp and is pictured with management and players. An event took place at Plunkett Station, Waterford recently as part of the 1916 Centenary Celebrations to Commemorate Joseph Mary Plunkett.
