PULSE Governor Training

Kent Sport is delighted to announce a partnership with KCC Governor Services to offer a ‘newly introduced’ training session to be held around the county. The session will give Governors the knowledge they need for their school to utilise the Primary School Sport Premium (PSSP) effectively.

Section 5 OFSTED inspections place the use of this funding under effective leadership and management making it imperative that Governors understand how this funding should be used within their school, especially with the latest budget indicating that the current funding will be doubled in the next few years.

This is a great opportunity for Governors and School Leaders to obtain a more thorough understanding of their roles with regards to the funding and will hopefully help PE co-ordinators in their day-to-day roles.

Current dates and venues are as follows:

03 May 2016 Monitoring Primary School Sports Premium 7-9pm Whitfield & Aspen School, Dover

17 May 2016 Monitoring Primary School Sports Premium 7-9pm Istead Rise Primary School, Gravesend

14 June 2016 Monitoring Primary School Sports Premium 7-9pm Oakwood House, Maidstone

21 June 2016 Monitoring Primary School Sports Premium 7-9pm Northdown Primary School, Margate
