Encouraging young people to get outdoors, hunt, and feed the hungry!

“Maddi’s Buck”

Maddi was six years old when she and her dad went hunting. Maddi got a buck! They loaded the deer on the truck and began to drive home. Her dad asked her if she was ready to learn how to skin and process her deer. She said, "Daddy can we take my deer to that place.” He asked, “What place?” And she replied, “You know, that place where we take the deer to give to all the people that don't have any food.” So he asked her again to make sure he was hearing what he thought he was hearing. And she said, “Daddy, I want to give my deer to those people that don't have any food.” So that is what they did! Maddi has a huge heart for helping people and for being in the outdoors. At even such a young age, she has figured out how to do both at the same time!
