Now until April 16, 2016 140 years of Newport RFC The Friends of Newport Rugby Trust have been working in partnership with the Newport Museum and Art Gallery to create an exhibition celebrating 140 years of Newport RFC, marking the ups and downs of this historic rugby football club. On display will be an outstanding collection of rugby memorabilia from Newport RFC, together with audio and visual exhibits.

On now until Saturday 23 January, 2016 Exhibition: James Flewitt Mullock James Flewitt Mullock is one of Newport’s most significant 19th Century artists. Born in 1818, he witnessed the Chartist rising and experienced the unprecedented industrial and commercial growth of Newport. Newport Museum and Art Gallery cares for numerous of James Flewitt Mullock’s works. Some watercolour drawings and lithographs are shown in this exhibition.
