SERVICES FOR SENIORS WITH DISABILITIES


who has difficulty preparing meals, or be over 60 years of age and have difficulty preparing meals, or suffer from an illness that prevents you from preparing your own meals. Contact the Red Cross for further details regarding eligibility. The Red Cross in Brantford offers First Aid and CPR training, water safety training and boat licensing through certified agencies in Brantford and Brant County. The Red Cross Transportation Service provides low cost door-to-door transportation service to individuals who are frail or frail elderly, have disabilities or to those with inadequate financial resources. Transportation is provided by volunteers. The Red Cross could not operate without the kind support of their many volunteers – many of whom are seniors. Cost for meals $6:75 each, cost for driving $5:20 in town (one way) $35 to Hamilton (both ways) $75 to Toronto (both ways).

We give support to both Ostomates and their Spouse and Caregiver. Meetings are the First Monday of each Month September to June at 405 Park Rd. N.Brierwood Apartments at 2p.m. Secure building please arrive early to be greeted at the door. Refreshments to follow meeting. Everyone is welcome.
