BRANTFORD AND BRANT COUNTY MASTER AGING PLAN


The Brantford and Brant County Master Aging Plan is a road map for the delivery of a


comprehensive, coordinated set of community services for older adults with a wide range of needs.


It focuses on the needs of seniors in the areas of health services, transportation, housing, education, social and recreational opportunities, safety and security, professional and retail services. Seniors and their families, local government officials, and service providers all volunteered to develop the Master Aging Plan.


The next step is to formally establish a nonprofit organization. Its purpose will be to plan for the needs of the population 65 and older. Today this group makes up 14% of the population but is projected to grow to 25% in 2031.


The Master Aging Plan and Implementation Plan are available for you to read at the Seniors Resource Centre or online at:
