on take away coffee, making it the perfect solution for increasing revenue within your work place. 37% of coffee drinkers in the UK buy coffee to take away and the tea-to-go market is thriving too. The key influencer of changes in the


market is the shift in consumer behavior. We live in a fast-paced society with less structure and less time for long breaks so consumers are on the move more than ever before. This shift in behaviour has meant that the on-the-go market is booming. Today one-in-three consumers purchase a hot beverage on-the-go at least once a week and retailers are cashing in on this by improving and extending their to-go offerings. As such consumers have come to expect quality


food and drinks on the go and the facilities industry is wholly embracing this. In addition to changes in consumer behaviour, changes in tastes are equally substantial. Milky coffee drinks are increasingly popular as is the addition of syrups. In addition to this, advanced nutritional education and allergen requirements means consumers are more conscious of health benefits and calorie contents of their drinks and snacks, and are looking for sugar free alternatives to high sugar energy drinks.


How does coffee impact productivity in the workplace? Recent studies have shown a positive correlation between coffee consumption and productivity in the workplace. The following improvements were seen amongst those who consumed coffee: Productivity rose by 19%, Motivation rose by 18%, Concentration rose by 6% and Overall Performance rose by 16%.
