Angler is a Michelin-starred seafood restaurant in the City, high atop South Place Hotel. The restaurant showcases seafood and shellfish from British waters paired with the best seasonal and local ingredients. Executive Chef, Tony Fleming has pulled in a talented team, including by Head Pastry Chef, Keisha Meakin and Executive Sommelier, Benoît Allauzen. Stepping out of the elevator on the seventh floor, guests are greeted by a long, elegant dining room with floor- to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. A specially commissioned, mirrored ceiling by Grace & Webb (literally) reflects the glamorous location, a destination for gourmets, romantics and power lunchers alike. Angler’s food is as elegant as its interiors, with dishes such as shellfish ravioli with tomato & chive butter, fennel & ginger slaw to start, steamed wild sea bass with crab crushed pink fir potatoes and sauce vierge for main, and gingerbread crumble with pear caramel and liquorice ice cream for dessert.
