INNOVATIONS & USING NEW TECHNOLOGY FEATURE SPONSOR Torque Control

The smart upgrade for nutrunners

Plarad introduces its latest innovation in its range of accessories, the mobile Torque Control measuring unit, which enables monitoring and recording of the applied torque and thus the bolting process directly. Operation is ‘standalone’ with no need for power cables, it is easily attached and integrated onto nutrunners.

QUICK SAFE EASY OPERATION

The actual measured result is directly

displayed on the Torque Control unit. Additionally a nominal torque value can be defined (set) which is indicated via the nominal torque display. If this value is exceeded the unit will sound an acoustic audible alarm.

The operator will also be warned optically via LED-display with traffic light colours which will be particularly useful when working in noisy environments.

INTERNAL MEMORY

The measured data is saved in the internal memory, ready to be transferred to a PC. The Torque Control unit has been developed for Plarad nutrunners and it is virtually maintenance-free.

Every Torque control is delivered with a charger cradle and USB Cable for data transfer.

Measurement range: 271Nm – 2710Nm Plarad UK Ltd
