Jennifer Lynn Hibbard Twins & Co. Realty

Breakthrough Moment: When my twin sister and I decided to open our own brokerage, Twins & Co. Realty, in 2009. We wanted to stand out and make a name for ourselves, instead of advertising for a large brokerage, like we had been since 2002. We had been successful with marketing our

team, The Real Estate Twins, and we wanted to take it to the next level and get our branding more recognition. Now, we feel proud of what we have accomplished and the business we have grown. It is a tremendous feeling knowing that we are amongst a small group of successful, young local business owners. Twins & Co. Realty is now a boutique brokerage with 9 agents.

Mother knows best: Our mom is the one who encouraged us to get into real estate. She got her broker’s license in 1987, after being in real estate sales for a number of years. We have real estate in our blood, being 4th generation Arizona Realtors. Our mom, dad, grandfather and great grandfather were all in real estate locally. After my sister, Christie, got her real estate license in 2000, I decided to get mine in January 2002, after graduating from ASU with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. We joined forces as The Real Estate Twins and the rest is history. Christie and I rank in the top 3% of all agents in the Arizona Regional MLS, by sales, volume for 2012, 2013 and 2014. Mom knows best!

Biggest Business Lesson: Treat

everyone as equals. I know this sounds cliché, but it’s what I live and work by. I can’t tell you how many times I meet agents that will not work with clients unless they meet a certain price point. I learned early on that everyone needs the same amount of care, education, time and honesty regardless of what they are prepared to spend. There was a period of time that a majority of my business was REALTOR® referrals. I helped those clients when everyone else said no. I made little money on the immediate transaction but guess what?! Those same people returned to me later when they were able to spend more money and have referred me countless clients over the years. Simply because I extended a helping hand and said yes

The above kind of goes hand in hand with my favorite saying / quote: “Follow your passion and the paycheck will follow.” I love what I do. I pour my heart and soul into this business and my clients. My passion moves me forward, keeps me informed and keeps me in an honest, ethical space. My clients feel that passion and enjoy working with me. They refer me to others which keeps me busy and the paychecks coming in.

My pre-listing appointment song: On to the next one... JayZ!
