'Akanksha'. The inaugural initiative under it is to ensure that Bangalore's green cover is not depleted by the aggressive growth that the city is witnessing.

Under Akanksha, citizens are encouraged to take a pledge at any of Concorde Group's properties for which they would be given a certificate of appreciation and Concorde Group would plant a sampling for each pledge at their sites. Akanksha is an effort by the Concorde Group to personify their vision of creating value for its customers and society. Under this initiative, Concorde Group is looking to plant 10,000 saplings by the end of 2015.

receive Stage 2 climate positive development certification from the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40). The Climate Positive Development Programme is a performance- based framework designed to create models for how cities can grow in low carbon ways.

The Climate Positive Development Programme was created to meet the pressing dual challenges of rapid urbanization and climate change. Part of the C40’s Sustainable Communities Initiative, the Programme was originally developed in partnership with the Clinton Climate Initiative and the US Green Building Council.

VBHC Value Homes gets a $20 million boost by Van Herk Groep
