What to do in Bridge of Allan

If you’ve over indulged at one of our restaurants or cafes why not burn off those calories; play some sport, take a walk along one of our country paths? Or, you can always while away the hours being pampered.

Spa and Beauty Treatments Bridge of Allan was an immensely popular spa town in the Victorian era and today’s Bridge of Allan can still offer you that same service. From tantalizing treatments, to cosmetic procedures and a hair salon, Lumia is the answer to your search for an exclusive boutique day spa.

Day Passes Whether you want to play tennis, squash, snooker or table-tennis, or even use their gym and sauna, The Bridge of Allan Sports Club on Mine Road can offer you a day pass to use their facilities. Contact the Steve at the Sports Centre directly on 01786 834397.

There are a number of paths in and around Bridge of Allan that will allow you to take in some of our sites and features such as the Mine Woods or Stevenson’s Cave, said to be Robert Louis Stevensons’ inspiration for Ben Gunn’s cave in Treasure Island.

A map of the local walks is available in the form of a leaflet and most hotels and shops will be able to provide you with a copy.

Keep an eye out for the black tablets on the side of some of our buildings. These will give you facts about some of the points of interest throughout the village.
