paperwork has been sent to district to conclude this project. I would like to think we can do a similar project again this year, as it has a direct impact on children’s lives and hopefully increases their opportunities following their education. My reasoning is that we have a tried and tested relationship with the club in Kenya, all funds raised go on the project with no dubious expenses and £1 goes further there than at home. Whilst there is a huge demand for aid and help in many parts of the Middle East there is no way our small contribution could get there without using the major agencies or government charities with their high percentages of expenses.
This I hope concludes a very successful project with Rotary club of Malindi and I have forwarded it to District foundation to hopefully close all the necessary paperwork. I would like with council and club’s permission to repeat this during this Rotary year .
