Meticulous craftsmanship is the order of the day in Maingate’s (Pulse Stand L50) Stylys Collection. Whether imaginatively depicting Woodland scenes, Wildlife, Christmas themes or – as here – the brand new Townscapes series, the motifs demonstrate both impressive creativity and expert execution. The range is very extensive, and many themes are brought out both in the exquisite filigree shown and in the fine handmade porcelain items that are a major feature of the collection. e: info@maingate.co.uk t: 01483727888

Spin City

Candle Carousals by Maingates (Pulse Stand L50) have been a rapidly growing market in recent years. As in all maturing markets, this one is now open to up-and- down selling which explains why so many go-ahead retailers stock the broad collection. Stylys Carousels comprise four design concepts representing four different price points, each available in numerous themes both All-Year and Christmas, and in beautifully detailed designs in copper, brass, or silver. e: info@maingate.co.uk t: 014393-727 888

director of A.H.A. Design is proud to be debuting at this year’s Pulse show.

Inspired by storytelling and memory, Andy’s designs capture a sense of aching nostalgia that is counterpointed by a feeling of unapologetic joy and wonderment. From the neon euphoric rush of being in the city to briny, windswept holidays by the seaside, his designs are abstracted assemblages of personal experiences, designed to invoke an emotional response from the viewer.

Andy’s most recent range is a collection of gift cards and cushions featuring a fox called Quinn. Entitled “Tales From The War & Other Short Stories”, each cushion invites the viewer to join Quinn on one of his whimsical adventures.
