8. The written word will be put to the sword? Not quite, but Web Video will play a major part in online marketing strategy over the next 12 to 24 months. Again due to tablets and smart phones people are now watching, not reading the Internet. In fact, by the end of 2015 having video content on your website will no longer be an option – it will be a must. Not only will Google rank you much higher in its search engine, but also your customers will start to expect to see video as part of their online interaction with you. All of that is useful but the most important factor is that people will stay on your web site up to 5x times longer because of video: Giving you more time to explain what you have, how they can benefit and ultimately giving you more opportunity to sell.

Opportunities for use of Video on your website are limitless. Use it for personal introductions, tours, educating via content, testimonials and product demonstrations to keep people on your website longer and to help your business stand out from every other ‘me too’ website out there.
