The resort’s Harbourtowne Golf Course was designed and built by legendary golf course architect, Pete Dye, and provides a great test of skills for players of all levels. Practice facilities include a full service driving range, practice and bunker area, chipping/pitching green and a large putting green. Quality golf clubs are available for rental, as well.

Also located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Wicomico County is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay and is conve- niently located less than three-hours from major metro areas including Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, and is just under 30-miles from Ocean City, Maryland.


Over 1,000 miles of waterways and 75 parks are open for exploration in Wicomico County. History buffs can marvel over 19th century architecture or explore the world’s largest decoy collection at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art. Families can bond over a Delmarva Shorebirds baseball game or while enjoying a stroll in the Salisbury Zoo. Adult groups and meeting attendees can savor the latest vintage from Bordeleau Winery, or explore the beer-making process at EVO Brewery. For shopping, check out the Country House, the world’s largest Country Store. And after a long day, great dining options range from casual, authentic all-you-can-eat crab houses to upscale fine dining. Area restaurants offer some- thing to please every palette.


There have been several recent hotel changes, openings and upgrades in Wicomico County, too. The Hampton Inn Salisbury completely reno- vated its lobby in late 2013, when it also added a business center. Its conference center opened in early 2014 after a refurbishment and upgrades.
