Ireland’s biggest and best cycling show returns to Dublin in April

reland’s biggest and best free cycling exhibition, the Irish Cycling Show, will return to the RDS Main Hall in Dublin this coming April

18th and 19th.

Last year the event was held in the city’s Merrion Square to coincide with the arrival of the Giro d’Italia but it is set for a return to Ballsbridge where it all began in 2012. The event attracts tens of thousands of visitors and has grown year on year, and with several exhibitors already confirming their attendance for 2015, organisers are optimistic this year’s event could eclipse what has gone before.

Promoter Hugh Bonner of Mara Media

said, “It’s particularly good to be in the main hall which has consistently generated

the biggest public footfall for exhibitions over many years.

“Ballsbridge is a superb location just minutes by bike from the city centre and it’s important that we bring the show to the people who have supported it in the first three years.

“The event is now established as one of the highlights of the spring season and for many it’s the signal that it’s time to really get going on the bike as the weather improves. “For 2015, we have brought the Irish Cycling Show forward a few weeks to better synchronise with people’s purchasing plans. And we’ll be bringing them a show where they can see the best possible selection of bikes, parts and accessories all under one roof.

“We’ll also have plenty of other attractions to whet the appetite including star appearances, bike rides, a test track, seminars, interviews and plenty more to keep everyone entertained throughout the weekend.”

Meanwhile, following last year’s inaugural promotion, the One4all Women on Wheels Bike Ride will start and finish at the show on Saturday, April 18th. Supported once again by One4All

Bikes4Work, the event is a 30km women’s- only charity bike ride expected to attract a five figure entry list.
