ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS
Sandy Mortimer began her travel career with American Airlines. She worked as a news reporter for CBS, a writer and producer of films, and currently is the only woman travel/ adventure filmmaker touring the United States. She has journeyed throughout the world developing a lifelong interest about diverse and unique cultures. Her films are shown on television worldwide and she’s been recognized as one of the top speakers in the field.
Clint Denn has been a movie actor, author, photographer, underwater explorer and teacher, as well as an award- winning filmmaker.
He has blended all these talents with his love of travel and his interest in people and their cultures to produce some of America’s finest travelogues.
Steve Gonser has traveled extensively in a quest for knowledge and adventure. He has captured on film the pulsating vitality of people at work and play, as well as the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. He conveys a youth-like enthusiasm and an infectious smile which he warmly imparts to all those who travel with him.
Dale Johnson has a 30-year span of credits, including films for National Geographic, BBC, Nova and NASA. He has built a reputation as an exceptional wildlife filmmaker. Leaving NASA, Dale moved into the wilderness of Alaska and his own production company. Dale’s wide range of nature films have been seen on PBS, The Discovery Channel and international television. He has blended all these talents with his love of travel and his interest in people and their cultures to produce some of America’s finest travelogues.
John Holod is an internationally recognized cinematographer who has filmed all over the world and presented his documentaries to audiences across the nation. John travels in a state-of-the-art recreational vehicle, immersing himself in the culture and surroundings he’s depicting. The RV serves as home and studio while he is on the road.
