Titirangi Festival of Music turns 10 with next year’s event. The festival will take place on the last weekend of March from Thursday the 26th to Sunday the 29th.

Festival Director David Parker is very proud to announce that the first headline act for the 10th anniversary festival is the Phoenix Foundation. “The band will be the biggest, most significant act we’ve had at the festival to date”, says David, who has been involved with the festival since it began in 2005.

Phoenix Foundation play the Titirangi Festival Ballroom (the War Memorial Hall) on Friday March 28 and tickets will be available from early February.

Art Competition The Titirangi Festival of Music ran a competition through The Fringe, to find the artwork and logo for the 2015 festival. The competition was won by Laingholm artist Heather Lister-Cook (pictured, right), a finalist in the Adam Portraiture award in 2012 with work included in exhibitions at Wellington Portrait Gallery and Lopdell House.
