DLF seed used in Brazil

Seed from DLF's Johnsons Sports Seeds range was chosen for all World Cup stadiums and training pitches for Brazil 2014. The pitches needed to be reinforced with temperate sports turfgrass to provide the perfect play- ing surface. The new turf type has larger seeds bred for improved stress tolerance, and have stronger root systems. The 4turf seed became widely available in spring 2014.
