A key speech by Shadow Housing Minister Alison Seabeck and a special advice surgery for leaseholders are the highlights of our special leaseholder event, incorporating a short AGM, this year celebrating the 40th anniversary of the creation of the FPRA.
The event takes place on Wednesday November 9 at the Carisbrooke Hall, Victory Services Club, near Marble Arch, London W1. It starts at 5.45pm and is open not just to our members but to anyone who is a leaseholder or involved with groups of leaseholders who would like to form their own residents’ association resident management company or right to manage company.
There will be presentations by a wide range of industry experts, and one-to-one free legal advice sessions on any matters relating to the leasehold property sector.
This event is being held in association with Sky Homes and there will be representatives attending from these organisations: Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE) Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) Sky Homes

Also present will be other organisations who can assist leaseholders with a wide range of issues including lease extensions, right to manage, insurance queries, offering satellite TV to every resident, and dealing with the implications of non-residents taking flat owners’ parking spaces.
Our aim, as ever, is to provide advice and support to long-leasehold home owners as well as helping other flat dwellers to set up and run residents’ associations.
This event is completely free of charge and you even get a free glass of wine (or soft drink)! Registration is essential as places are limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
FPRA Chairman Bob Smytherman looks forward to welcoming you to the event. “This is a great opportunity to find yourself in front of the UK’s leading specialists in the leasehold property sector. We are thrilled at the level of support from our exhibitors – many of whom we have been associated with for many years – and they will be available to answer and assist with queries from residential leaseholders about a whole range of issues affecting daily living in apartments or blocks of flats.”
