Glyndebourne Tour 2014 New Victoria Theatre, Woking Tuesday 28 to Saturday 1 November Glyndebourne returns to the New Victoria with a week of stunning opera, including Verdi’s La Traviata, Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera and Britten’s The Turn of the Screw. Performances as follows: La Traviata, a new production of Verdi’s masterpiece story of a ‘fallen woman’, sung in Italian with English supertitles: Wednesday 29 October and Saturday 1 November, 7.15pm. La Finta Giardiniera, a tale of mistaken identity, thwarted passion and heartbreak, sung in Italian with English supertitles: Tuesday 28 and Friday 31 October, 7.15pm. The Turn of the Screw, based on Henry James’ haunting story: Thursday 30 October, 7.15pm.
