Flavored Water Place any amount of chopped or sliced fresh fruit, vegetables, and/or herbs in a 2-qt. pitcher. Press gently on fruit and herbs with a wooden spoon to release juice and flavor. Fill pitcher with water and ice. Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Try these flavor combinations:


• Lemon-Mint • Strawberry-Basil • Blueberry-Peach


Green Sun Tea Makes 1 qt. • 4 c. water • 3 bags green tea • Fruit juice to taste (optional) • Mint leaves (optional)


Place tea bags and water in a clear glass jar. Leave in direct sunlight about 2-4 hours (the longer it steeps, the stronger the tea). Add juice, if desired. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves, if desired.


Iced Coffee Serves 1 • 8 oz. freshly brewed coffee • ½ tsp. (or 1 packet) low-calorie sweetener (such as Splenda or Truvia)
