rTUK TUKaces ahead of competition

Tuk Tuk, which can accommodate 135 people, is situated on the corner of Leven Street and offers what it claims is a unique take on the Indian tradition of street food, inspired by the thousands of street food vendors across the country serving fresh dishes to locals and busy office workers. According to the

restaurant: “The Tuk Tuk team, both front and back of house, faced many challenges in this already competitive market. Our chefs who

originate from different regions of India trialled and tested many dishes, and some made it onto the menu others unfortunately did not. Our top 35 dishes were then sampled out in the streets of Edinburgh and this helped decide the final menu.“ Tuk Tuk claims to serve many dishes that are not found in other Indian restaurants. Examples include Hakka Chilli Noodles; Vada Pau; Pau bhaji; Bhel puri; and chicken and lamb dishes on the bone. n
