Irish Stout Bread


The bread recipe couldn’t be easier. There are only four ingredients and while you are preparing and braising your lamb shanks, the bread will rise and bake. It is a great side to help soak up the braising gravy produced by the lamb.


Ingredients


• 3 c self-rising flour • 1 12-ounce can stout


Instructions


① Mix all of the ingredients and let stand for 1-2 hrs. ② Pour dough into a greased loaf pan & butter the top. ③ Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 1 loaf
