Keeping customers happy and coming back for more is an ever increasing challenge these days and so it was inspiring to attend this year’s annual meeting of The Giftware Association for a special seminar on ‘Converting your customers into fans.’ The importance of the topic was


reflected in the high turnout – the biggest for years – and if you weren’t there you missed a treat, although the event was live- streamed to help get the message across. Industry experts covered everything


from the importance of offering a good service to selling online and how bricks and mortar retailers can learn from the net. There was even practical advice on how to employ apprentices under current national schemes. All in all it was yet another opportunity

Home & Gift Harrogate – a fabulous buying opportunity in that wonderful old Yorkshire town. Time to do some business, meet old friends and soak up the sun – hopefully.
