The kind-hearted individuals of Windham High School, students and staff alike, collaborated together on May 28 to host Hair for Hope. This event raises money for treatment to aid cancer patients and also go toward cancer research. Windham High hosted this charitable undertaking for the fi fth consecutive year, and each time it seems to gain more and more success. The young women who participated donated eight inches of hair

Continental Academie of Hair Design could be seen shredding the hair down like grass. Over $1,000 was raised that morning in just under an hour’s time.

It was truly an honor to be surrounded by such amicable souls. Their desire to help those who have been affl icted by cancer was admirable, humane, and generous to say the least.
