I’m just launching my own Jamboree greetings range at Card Crazy and did Totes Amazeballs myself last year so it’s great to see that being picked up elsewhere now. It’s a brilliant show for networking, you can’t go more than 10 feet without seeing someone you know and having a conversation. Paperlink is our best seller by far.”

People who are very well established in the industry and love the idea say they want to help us. We were pleased with the response, retailers got it but we did realise direct sales will be the next thing we need. The show went well, we have lots of leads and saw loads of retailers and loads of publishers who want to get involved - and we had our fi rst order.”

Bev Cunningham & Nick Carey, Abacus “It’s been very good, very encouraging. Wednesday was quieter, but Tuesday we were so busy and probably lost people because we just couldn’t get to them even though we had plenty helping out. We know we gave away 18 Kindles on the fi rst day so we reckon we have done at least 30 – it’s been a very good promotion. It does seem to make people up their order and we’ve got a couple of new customers off the back of it.”

Bill Greeno & Tim Porte, Paperlink “It’s been quite encouraging, there’s been a mood of optimism and buyers have gone as far as to say there was a buzz about the show – and they haven’t said that for a few years. The multiples will always attend and show interest, we’ve had a little bit of time with them, which is nice. I think it’s been encouraging, steady all the way through.”


Ian Bant Ling Design “It’s been ok, it’s been pretty buzzy this year, this is a much better position. Most people I’ve spoken to have been very happy. There have been good quality people and orders, exports were ok too. It’s a good position because you can get people on the way in and at the end on the way out.”
