Foster Care and the Dangers of Online Technology Foster children in particular are easy targets for both

bullies and cyberbullys. Often times, these technological thugs seek out victims who are new to a school., and foster children often move from home to home and school to school. This also makes it relatively simply to spot a foster child. Added to this, foster children often struggle with school, which also makes them targets for bullies. Those foster children who were taken from homes due to neglect repeatedly suffer from a number of developmental delays .

These symptoms make them especially vulnerable to

bullies, and foster children with special needs are often targeted. Along with this, as many foster children have low self-esteem due to the many emotional, physical, and psychological challenges they face, they are often less able to protect themselves from bullying, in whatever form it may take.
