Vendor Spotlight


Sarah Brady is an Advertising Consultant with Apartments.com and joined them four months ago. However, she has worked in the apartment industry for 11 years. She can be reached at sbrady@apartments.com. She currently serves on the Products & Services and Special Events Committees. Sarah also served as a Co-Chair for the 2014 Trade Show. She shared that her relationship with organizations such as TAA have helped to shape her career and helped her learn and grow to be a better leader, co-worker and friend.


Apartments.com has been servicing the Triangle for 10+ years. Sarah noted “we are an online advertising resource for apartment communities to help them reach potential renters both near and far. Along with our online advertising, we have several ancillary products that have proven to be a huge time saver for office teams and shown to be of great value. With our live chat, my media and real time online reporting, we offer a great value to our customers.”


Sarah shared that Apartments.com is excited to gain a large presence here in the Triangle. She noted “It’s a privilege for me to service other communities and be a resource they can count on not only for advertising but from the property management perspective. I am happy to use my 10 years on site to share and help in any way that I can. I truly want our customers and clients to know they can count on me and Apartments.com to meet their needs.”

Jim C. Solly is the Regional Sales Executive – NC & VA with Valet Waste. Jim has worked in the


apartment industry for 12 years and recently settled into his new position two and a half months ago. He may be reached at jsolly@valetwaste.com. Jim currently serves on the Government Affairs and Products & Services Committees. Jim was born and raised in Ontario, Canada before leaving for University on a hockey scholarship. He was an NHL draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets and played five years of professional hockey.


Jim shared that “the Triangle Apartment Association has helped me get to know many people in the industry, from Regional Managers, Property Managers and Maintenance Supervisors as well as other vendors. It has helped me build relation- ships with potential clients and created opportunities with potential prospects.”


Valet Waste has been serving the Triangle for ten years and helps create a culture of responsiveness for their multi-family clients. Jim explained, “along with doorstep trash removal, we also now offer many more services to help free up time for Property Maintenance personnel. Each apartment community is different, so we customize programs for property maintenance teams to improve their community’s aesthetics.”
